Richie Kaye is a singer-songwriter-guitarist following a tradition that stretches back to the troubadours. One man, one guitar, one voice. Compared by one critic to the Fado Portoghese, but clearly American in tone, he writes and performs original music based on his awareness -- with all it's faults -- of the True and Real in the style of the Here and Now. The music on he plays is youthful in spirit, expressing a tragicomic vitality within a strange and subtle harmoniousness.
