The Bad Spellers - Fall in Love

Soft vocals, broken beats, and layers of synths give a dark, yet uplifting mood to the London Apartments' portion of the album. With lyrics powerful enough to appeal to emo and indie fans but beats sure to attract fans of electronic, The London Apartments are sure to bring in new listeners from all directions. If The London Apartments end act one of the album in the darkness of late night, The Bad Spellers pick it up and take us through the sunset and early morning with quirky indie pop love ballads. Tokyo's Tony Parmenter and Yasuko Ichinomiya use quirky 80s keyboards and beat machines combined with twangy guitars, toy xylophones and poppy vocals to create songs that are uplifting and fun to listen to. Their three songs on the album accurately characterize the fun-loving, positive attitude of The Bad Spellers. The final track on the album combines the best of both bands by allowing Justin of The London Apartments the chance to showcase his skills with beat sequencing alongside The Bad Spellers' keyboard hooks along with lyrics from both bands.
