New Broadway Cast - Evita

For the first time since it debuted on Broadway over 30 years ago, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webbers seven-time Tony Award winning musical EVITA is back on Broadway. The production stars Grammy.-winning international superstar Ricky Martin as Chi, Olivier Award winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger making her Broadway debut as Evita, and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Persn. EVITA is directed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage (FROST /NIXON, RED) and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford (HOW TO SUCCEED, PROMISES, PROMISES). Masterworks Broadway proudly releases the New Broadway Cast Recording of EVITA, the first complete English language recording of the show since the original 1979 Broadway cast album. The 2-CD set is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Nigel Wright, with Tim Rice as Executive Producer.
