....Ghostwork is a collective of forward thinking musicians who create a completely new musical expression. At one moment filled with rich vocal melodies that morph into broken,dark wanderings that represent the true human condition. At the core of this unit is the writing of D. Washington who has toured and recorded with many artist, some of whose albums you probably own. He has relished his 'below the radar' status as a writer ....until now. He felt Ghostwork was the perfect collection of players to create something completely new considering the lack of individuality and progression he was seeing in mainstream music. K. Noonan, A. Terrebonne and L. Thompson all come from varied musical backgrounds that helped complete the line-up to push forward,upward and outward.....this music is unlike anything you've heard while at the same time giving you just enough accessibility to stay tuned in . Thompson,Noonan and Terrebonne are all accomplished musicians as individuals with extensive backgrounds that bring into sharp focus the sum of the parts. Anyone looking for a reflection of life in it's glory and sorrow should look no further. These guys subscribe to a belief that music is a living art that should evolve and shatter trends and common stances. They feel the validity of miles davis, sam cooke and igor stravinsky should be seated at the same table as led zepplin, david bowie and mike patton. .................then again,none of this could be true and you just may be in for the old sales pitch.
