Salsa Celtica, an 11-piece ensemble who's members hail from England, Scotland, and North and South America, who's sound is a bold hybrid of the rhythmic swagger of classic Cuban salsa with the aching modal resonance of traditional British Isles music. EL AGUA DE LA VIDA, their 3rd album, continues to refine and expand their approach. Integrating highland bagpipes, tenor banjo and fiddle with shimmering brass, congas and timbales.
