Having lived in various parts of the American landscape over his 27 years, Patrick Dunn is finding a home in the resurgence of the songwriter. His Americana sensibility and raw emotion recall a sense of timelessness scattered across generations: a new voice from an old soul. This undeniable combination has Patrick poised to claim his place in the evolving time-line of Rock n Roll music. Currently, Patrick is living in Southern California bridging his east coast roots with his new west coast life by writing songs for an upcoming release. These new songs find Patrick getting his hands dirty in the revival sounds that are hinted at on his last album 'Down That Road' (Dirt Floor Records), and have been getting an extremely enthusiastic response at live shows. Patrick Dunn has played at such notable venues as The Hotel Cafe, Genghis Cohen, and Dirt Floor Records Songwriters Series (Los Angeles); The Paradise Lounge, Church, TT the Bears, and Bank of America Pavillion (Boston); CBGB's, Don Hills, The Sidewalk Cafe, Niagara, and CNote (New York), Dirt Floor Studios (CT), and many more. He has shared nights at these venues wth artists big and small, including the Last of A Breed Tour (Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ray Price), Elvis Costello, Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris, and of course the Dirt Floor Records roster.
