Say Hi to Your Mom write songs in New York City. They make records in bedrooms, using guitars, Moogs and a variety of electronic whatnots. They enjoy singing about Orwellian futures, robots and the mundane and say their music is from outer space, an electronic publication, an infomercial, the boogie-man hiding in your closet, a fairy tale, a batch of chocolate cookies, the sort of thing you can bring home to the folks, your worst nightmare, like a nice Chianti, a yummy alternative to dairy products, sponsored by conglomerates, a role-playing game much akin to Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and an evil clone of itself. In all honesty though, they would love to have you all over for a game of twister over cheeze-whiz and animal crackers.
