Dixie Five - Dancin' Fool

This swinging band worked in the Detroit area in the late 1940's and early 1950's. Their music was issued on 78's by the small United label, and it's being released here for the first time on CD (additional material not found on the original Jazzology vinyl release is included). The band features Andy Bartha, who was featured with Pee Wee Hunt for many years, plus Frank Gillis, who later played with Doc Evans.
