Jesús Alemañy - Cubanismo

This artist spent a decade as lead trumpet player for the noted Cuban orchestra Sierra Maestra before moving to London in 1994. Now he returns to Havana with pianist Alfredo Rodriguez and an all-star ensemble of local musicians to create what Alemany calls "an antidote to all the sterile and intellectual Latin jazz of recent years."
