Traces David is a unique blend of classic, folk, and pop rock influences merged with an absolute and sincere passion for performance. The energetic New Hampshire bred indie rock group attracts listeners and viewers from all styles and cliques of the musical world, standing against the growing demand for genre-specific sounds. Compared to bands ranging from Deathcab for Cutie and Brand New to Counting Crows and The Mountain Goats, Traces David's musical diversity, lyrical elegance and lasting melodies have proven to please fans around the country. The band released their debut CD, Conversations in a Mirror, independently in May of 2008. Their singles 'A Bridge Collapsed' and 'The World Around' have received airtime on college radio stations throughout the state, as well as Boston's WXRV. Currently, the group is in the final stages of writing for a second album, which they hope to release early next year. Traces David's successes in the Greater Boston Area can be attributed to their dedicated followings both on the internet and at shows around the Northeast. With new gigs and appearances being booked daily, the band is poised for an explosive 2009.
