Preservation Hall is the world-famous jazz club on St. Peter Street in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band serves as the Big Easy's ambassadors of authentic traditional jazz, and this new set of great old standards (by Earl Hines, Sammy Cahn and others) captures the unique flavors of the region's plentiful musical feast. This album gives special focus to the vocals of Narvin Kimball, the band's banjo player and oldest member.
