BARONESA is Cristina Morrison's sophomore album, featuring 11 tracks. Cristina goes beyond jazz, singing in four languages and bringing in her experience as an actress to play with her voice through different styles and genres like bolero, drum & bass, cha cha cha, lounge, Arab rhythms and more, combining for an eclectic cross genre world jazz production. Her lyrics talk about dreams, bohemia, her mother's loss, love and her people, friends and anecdotes. Cristina plays through her interpretive side not only on the record, but in her stage performance as well, which has evolved into a more theatrical experience as she navigates to other realms within the concept of Baronesa.
