Dolly Parton - Backwoods Barbie

Dolly's 2008 album shows how the singer/songwriter has successfully conquered the Country, Pop, Bluegrass and R&B genres and she continues to thrill audiences of all ages. Backwoods Barbie, her first mainstream Country album in 17 years, marks the first release on her independent label focuses on quality releases from her catalog. In typical Dolly fashion, Backwoods Barbie was introduced to her fans with the hit single 'Better Get to Livin'', a classic kick-in-the-pants inspirational. Parton wrote nine of the songs for the album and produced the CD with band leader and guitarist Kent Wells.
