Hip-hop, reggae and hardcore influenced band, Insolence began in 1995, in the depths of the streets of San Jose, California. Within months, they quickly formed a substantial following throughout the San Francisco Bay area that eventually led them to hit the touring circuit with several national acts, including but not limited to Rancid, Incubus, System of a Down, Sevendust, Janes Addiction, Papa Roach, Alien Ant Farm, Adema, Machine Head, Staind and Cypress Hill. With a growing fan base, they toured through Europe in the summer of 1998 and 1999 plus signed a record deal with Madonna's record label, Maverick Records.
