Roni Ben-Hur - Anna's Dance

For his first Reservoir recording, guitarist Roni Ben-Hur has chosen his colleagues in the same way that he selects the notes he plays - with love & great care. In the company of four masters (tenor saxophonist Charles Davis, pianist Barry Harris, bassist Walter Booker & drummer Leroy Williams), Ben-Hur has crafted a session of relaxed, yet unique & invigorating music. These five players practice a "jazz alchemy," twisting the base elements of everyday musical life into magic.
