Chainsuck - Angelscore

With music akin to the atmospheric pop of Curve or Cocteau Twins combined with driving hip hop beats, this Boston foursome emerged on the scene about four years ago. Fronted by Berkelee School of Music grad Marydee Reynolds (vocals, guitar), this group also features Michael Smith (ex-Figures on a Beach) on drums and production by hip hop producer extraordinaire Lamar Lowder. Their song "Emily Says" appeared on the celebrated GIRL compilation (with Tracey Bonham, among others). College and alternative radio are spinning "Prozac." Both are on this album.
