Johnny Hartman - I Thought About You (reissue)

This album, produced in 1959 for Teddy Reig's Roost label, fell between Johnny's initial 1950 recordings on RCA and his classic 1964 recorded meeting with John Coltrane. With Hartman's renewed popularity in the '60s, this LP became a collector's item. Thanks to the abundance of Hartman recordings used in the Bridges of Madison County, Hartman's popularity is greater now than it ever was during his lifetime. Except for a brief European release, this CD is the first reissue since it's original release.
