Craig Kinsey - American Roots & Machines

Craig Kinsey's second solo album, American Roots and Machines, carries the punch of his diverse life. It starts off very strong with a dark and melodic tone in the opening track 'Dissatisfied'. As the album progresses, so do the genres. The album continues while creating hard rock songs like 'I'm Not Part of Scene' and then followed with a modern gospel track called, 'New World Now' that will turn everyone's head and ears to the genius of his work. Blues pays homage to Houston's gypsy and frontier style with the blues track 'Broke and Hungry'. Craig's singer songwriter mentality is strongly displayed in the epic and historical civil war ballad 'Gettysburg'. Beautifully written tracks like 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and 'Say Jesus (Jesus talks to a Homeless Man)', displays Kinsey's ability bring down the tone and focus on the lyrics.
