Linda Presgrave - Along the Path

On her newest CD Along The Path, Linda Presgrave (jazz pianist, arranger and composer) takes the listener on a musical journey from several ports of call in Asia to the Catalan region of France. The 10 original tracks by Presgrave capture the sights, sounds and impressions along her emotional musical and spiritual path. The first 4 tracks make up the Asian Suite and the next 6 tracks comprise the French Suite. The 11th track, "Universal Freedom", is a bonus track written by Stan Chovnick. The CD is made up of 10 instrumental tracks - 2 trios, 6 quartets with three different sax players, 1 quartet with a vocal, 1 quintet and 1 sextet.
