David Soldier - Aliens Took My Mom

This album contains music from school children from Fort Greene, Brooklyn, ages 2 through 9, influenced by recordings of the Art Ensemble of Chicago & free jazz they heard in a music class. The little squirts organized their own improvising jazz/classical/avant garde orchestra, creating a concept album about an army of invading aliens. Features the classics "The Aliens Get Nuclear Bugs in Them & Pop," "All of the Humans Blow Up," "The Navy Bombs Them," "Minuet for Recorder & Violin" & "Everything Is Soft." There is no editing or overdubs on this recording... it is exaclty what the kids played.
