Mighty Ghosts - Aberdeen

When this project began, we were a whole other band called the Mighty Ghosts of Heaven. We were playing an eclectic assortment of American folk music with ukuleles in noisy clubs around the NW. I had the idea that people might pay more attention if the songs had connecting themes and were suggestive of some kind of story. I wrote a little narrative around our repertoire and slowly the songs started changing to go along with the story. Around this time the band broke up and reformed and rearranged and the altered songs turned into original songs...and we forgot how the story went, that was ok. People left, and people joined, people got married, people got divorced. There was a birth, death...life went on, and somehow this record got made. Against all odds, this the Mighty Ghosts!
