Two of the world's hottest vocal stars, Cecilia Bartoli and Andrea Bocelli, participated in a special "Celebration of Youth" open-air concert outside Paris this August, which was hosted by Pope John Paul II. Myung-Whung Chung conducted a feast of the world's most inspiring sacred music, performed by Bartoli, Bocelli and the Chorus & Orchestra of the Academia Nazionale Di Santa Cecilia. Shortly beforehand, DG recorded a Hymn for the World - all the music to be performed during the landmark celebration.
