First song on his EP is about selling out to music and movie moguls in Los Angeles, but it's riffs and/or hooks can be traced back to the Raspberries and Mott the Hoople. -Village Voice ?? 'Age/Occupation' is a big hooky event with pulsing guitars, armies of vocal harmonies and pumping rhythms. It's filled with gonzo driving guitars that knife up the hook levels to maximum and just does not stop, with the end of the mini-CD leaving you excited for a bright future for Ari Shine. -Not Lame ?? ...a warm and friendly radio mix, but the guitars still crunch and howl. -Rhapsody ?? Simply put: he's added an integral chapter to the book of modern pop rock. Listen with a fine-tuned ear, and you'll agree.
