From the Producer... The night the idea for this CD was concieved I was house sitting for a music producer. As I was reading the titles of the books on her shelf I realized I wanted to do so much more than I was. I think we've all had those moments. But what could I do? I was a songwriter and music photographer. I had most of the experience and most of the resources for....for what? For... an amazing folk-rock compilation of unsigned female American talent including a full color photography and design page for every artist. And something extra... a vigorous spoken word selection reflecting my feelings about being an artist in urban society. Not to be heard unless selected... The mysterious track '0' (a track location I've only seen once on an X-files CD). This CD is a reminder to me that when I am unsatisfied, there is a choice, and I can always stir something up in me as well as in others.
