Ron Hutchens and Tommy Strange combine for one of the sweetest jazz albums around. Ron hails from Asheboro, North Carolina and could be found playing piano in local bands. He moved to Nashville and found himself writing, playing and touring with Slim Whitman, The Girls Next Door and Blue Tears. Ron teamed up with Tommy and started as a rhythm section for a Nashville studio playing on demos and custom album projects. They found the groove with each other and formed an R & B band and opened for the likes of Mark Farner (Great Funk Railroad). Tommy Strange is a Nashville native playing guitar in rock and jazz bands in high school and college. He then toured the Southeast in dance and show bands. Their collaboration in 'Jazz on a White Moon Night' is smooth jazz with character. The perfect album for sailing at night with a light wind. Enjoy.
