Dave Powers - House Jazz Concert Series 1

In 2009, The House Jazz Concert Series was co-created by Dave Powers and Annette Franks to bring people together for good jazz music and good times in the style of the old-time 'rent parties' of the 1920's through the 1950's. There are somewhere between 40 to 85 people who come to Dave's house in Columbus, OH to listen, participate, network and fellowship. The once-a month series centers around the Dave Powers Trio plus a special guest from time to time. These energetic performances are all recorded live in front of enthusiastic audiences. Along with piano and vocals by Powers, Volume One features Dave Dewitt (bass), Derek DiCenzo (guitar), Andy Smith (drums) and Louis Tsamous (drums.
