Rumors suggest that Apple will launch three new devices this year: the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
That's slightly different to Apple's usual schedule of releasing 's' devices every other year, with the special anniversary 'X' model inspiring Apple to skip the 7s and 7s Plus entirely.
If rumors are to be believed, though, the iPhone 8 Plus could look a lot different than its older brother. For one, it may be bigger: some sources suggest it will be 5.8” rather than 5.5”, making it the biggest iPhone to date.
It could also include a new OLED screen boasting a super sharp resolution. This screen may also include True Tone technology, which adjusts colors based on environmental lighting.
Apple may also switch the 7 Plus’ metal build for a ‘glass sandwich’ design, a change that will allow for the introduction of a feature Apple fans have long requested: wireless charging.
