The iPhone 12 was released with a super-fast A14 Bionic processor alongside a super Retina XDR display and 5G!
Just before we thought it couldn’t get any better, the future iPhone 13 is rumored to have some major upgrades we can’t wait to use!
What is the iPhone 13 going to look like?
According to certain iPhone 13 leaks, the new iPhone is expected to be smaller but have a similar flat design like the iPhone 12 models.
Stronger magnets are also rumored to be used and all of the iPhone 13 models will be around 0.26mm thicker due to bigger batteries.
It’s also been suggested there could be a portless iPhone and larger camera modules.
The new iPhone 13 is also expected to have flexible OLED displays instead of LCD and a super smooth 120Hz refresh which wasn’t able to be used with the iPhone 12 range due to battery life concerns.
Finally, the display size will be very similar to the iPhone 12 series or it will have slightly larger displays due to reduced bezels.
iPhone 13 camera
iPhone 13 rumors suggest there won’t be a drastic change to the cameras but there’s a possibility the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro will have autofocus.
It’s also rumored all the new iPhone 13 models will have a LiDAR scanner or only the iPhone 13 Pro models will include it.
Battery
Apparently more physical space has been freed up with the iPhone 13 to allow for larger batteries. Also, the new A15 Bionic chip could be more energy efficient compared to the iPhone 12. This would mean better battery life performance.
Software
It’s certain the iPhone 13 will have 5G and the majority speculate it will only have Face ID, but iPhone 13 Touch ID isn’t out of the question just yet.
Another one of the Apple iPhone 13 rumors is new reverse wireless charging and a larger wireless coil to support a higher wattage.
The iPhone 13 will also run iOS 15, which brings updates to Face ID, live text, Safari design, Face Modes, and more.
