Larger display
The first of many iPhone 16 Pro rumors suggest that we could see larger screens for the Pro models this year.
An iPhone 16 Pro leak claims that both the iPhone 16 Pro will sport a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro had a 6.1-inch display, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a 6.7-inch screen.
While this isn’t a huge increase in display size, it’s still worth noting if you had hopes of reusing your iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max phone case!
New Capture button
A leaked CAD render from 91mobiles has revealed a potential new feature: a dedicated button for capturing photos. Known as the “Capture button,” it is expected to function similarly to the shutter button, with the capability to sense varying pressure levels for focusing and taking pictures.
This button will likely be placed at the bottom right side of the iPhone 16 models, making it convenient for taking photos in landscape mode. Although this feature might be available across the entire iPhone 16 lineup, it’s an exciting addition for iPhone 16 Pro users.
New color option
As with previous iPhone launches, it’s likely that we’ll see one or two new color options for the Pro series. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, that new color could be rose.
iPhone 16 Pro color rumors suggest that this rose color may replace the previous year’s blue option for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new rumored iPhone 16 Pro colors include space black, white (or silver), gray and rose.
Enhanced camera zoom
Wondering if we’ll see any improvements to the iPhone 16 Pro camera? According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro could include a 5x telephoto lens, an enhancement previously added to the Pro Max model only. Additionally, there’s speculation that the iPhone 16 Pro could offer an improved 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens for superior low-light photography.
A18 Pro Chip
With every Apple Keynote event usually comes the announcement of a new A-Series chipset to power the latest iPhone models, and this year’s iPhone 16 models are no exception.
iPhone 16 Pro leaks suggest that both the Pro and Pro Max models will feature an upgraded A18 Bionic Pro chip. This chip is rumored to include a more advanced Neural Engine with additional cores, enabling enhanced AI capabilities.
It’s also worth mentioning that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to use the standard A18 chipset, resulting in a difference in performance despite both models utilizing the A18 processor.
2TB storage option
For those who frequently find themselves running out of storage, good news may be on the horizon. One iPhone 16 Pro rumors indicate that both the Pro and Pro Max models could offer a new 2TB storage option. If true, these models would come with 8GB of RAM and be available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations.
