iPhone 15 Rumors – What Models Will Be Released?
This September, Apple is expected to unveil its next-gen lineup of smartphones, the iPhone 15 series. But will Apple stick to their usual lineup or could we see some changes to the upcoming models? Here are all the latest iPhone 15 rumors related to each new model!

Sizing debates
There seem to be mixed suggestions when it comes to iPhone 15 rumors discussing sizing. Some leaks say that the iPhone 15 series models are expected to be the same size as last year’s iPhone 14 models, which would mean two 6.1-inch and two 6.7-inch models. If this information is correct, the iPhone 15 series sizing will be as follows:
- iPhone 15 (6.1-inch)
- iPhone 15 Plus (6.7-inch)
- iPhone 15 Pro (6.1-inch)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (6.7-inch)
However, other rumors suggest that Apple could bump up the sizing for the iPhone 15 series, with some claiming the iPhone 15 could have a 6.2-inch display. There don’t seem to be any further sizing leaks that mention the other iPhone 15 models, and so there’s no way to tell if Apple is planning to increase the display sizing, and if so, what that increase would be for the Plus and Pro Max models.
Similar naming scheme
It’s likely that Apple will stick with their usual numbering scheme for its next-gen iPhone series, making this year’s set of phones the iPhone 15 series. Just like last year, we’re expecting four different iPhone models including the recent Plus model which replaced the discontinued Mini.
One rumor suggests that Apple could which up their naming scheme slightly, changing their ‘Pro Max’ model for an ‘Ultra’, and switching the ‘Plus’ model for a ‘Max’. If this is correct, the new models would be:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Max
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Ultra
Another rumor suggests that this change won’t take place until the unveiling of the iPhone 16 in 2024, and so, for now, we could be left with the same names as the previous iPhone 14 models which would give us:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
Increased pricing
Iphone 15 rumors around pricing aren’t looking too good for consumers, with leaks suggesting that we could see a price increase on all four models – including consumers within the US.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) is expected to be crowned Apple’s most expensive iPhone ever released thus far, which is a worrying sign for those who already received the price increase for last year’s iPhone 14 range.
Apple iPhone 15 rumors suggest the price for the iPhone 15 series could increase by $100 each, meaning the prices for each model could look something like this:
- iPhone 15 – $799
- iPhone 15 Plus – $899
- iPhone 15 Pro – $1,099
- iPhone 15 Pro Max – $1,199

Expanded color options
With each new iPhone series comes all-new colors, and it looks like this year’s iPhone is no different. iPhone 15 rumors claim that Apple could be cooking up new colors for all four of the new models.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus rumors suggest the two models could be available in an eye-catching cyan color, while iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max rumors are that the two pricier models will offer up a brand new deep red color.
